Sponsorship guidelines
We aim to support sponsorship requests that meet our community investment guidelines, share values that are similar to our own and that provide the broadest benefits to the widest cross-section of the community.
Whilst we are unable to support every request that we receive, we do review every submission and encourage those seeking sponsorship to request support well in advance.

Please note: All proposal requests considered for funding are subject to ExxonMobil PNG community investment guidelines:
- A registered entity with Investment Promotion Authority
- Have an existing bank account and capacity to provide an expenditure report
- Proven track record of doing community or development work
We reserve the right to refuse or approve proposals and set conditions on proposals considered for funding. Priority will be given to proposals from within the PNG LNG Project area, which aligns and complements our community investment focus and priorities.
The overall objective of our Community Development Programs and Contributions is to enhance economic development and include a focus on health, education, agriculture and other livelihood support programs, law and justice, environment and civic and community support. The initiatives range from training, strengthening community resilience, women’s empowerment and infrastructure support.
